Hello All,
You may be wondering what comes next after the highly successful nationwide No Kings 3. Indivisible reports that at least 8 million protesters participated. There were also additional No Kings protests planned across Chester County, which is a amazing. The more locations we have, the more people are able to come out and join us. We must keep this momentum going and continue encouraging others to get involved.
Our next message will focus on May Day Strong on May 1st. People across the country are encouraged to take action and demand a nation that puts workers over billionaires with many refusing business as usual through “No School. No Work. No Shopping”. Together, we will flex our collective economic power. We’re inspired by the Twin Cities’ Day of Truth and Action, where teachers, faith leaders, workers, students, and business leaders stepped away from work, school, and shopping to make their voices heard. May Day Strong.
Attending Stand With Our Neighbors and providing mutual aid to those in need will help support the May Day Strong effort. It can be more challenging for some people than others to take time off from work or school, which makes community support even more important. Consider joining us on April 12 and bringing a friend to meet your neighbors and representatives from across the county. You can contribute by bringing $20 gift cards or donating to the Chester County Food Bank. Sign up for this event below.
Midterm primary elections are coming up on May 19th when we choose our candidates for the general election in November. We need to vote, encourage our neighbors and friends to vote, volunteer at the polls, volunteer for a candidate’s campaign, and take action to keep our elections fair and accurate. There will be more information coming out in the weeks ahead with opportunities to get involved.
On a NK3 follow up: ICC purchased a larger sound system and we hope it sufficed. We know that providing sound to everyone is a monumental task that we will never succeed at, but we are trying to reach as many as we can. It was expensive and we could not have done it without the donations from of our community. Thank you all for your generous support, monetary, volunteering or otherwise. It all matters and helps build our community. We know people have opinions about these rallies and what is coming up so please feel free to reply to this email and share.

Things to Know
RAM (Remote Area Medical) is a charity organization that is made of volunteers that provide pop up medical clinics to help underserved Americans. It started off as an organization providing healthcare in other countries but started setting up clinics in the US because of the high need. This is a clear example of how the US government is failing it’s citizens and also how Americans stand up for their neighbors in need. For more info on RAM watch this video or read this article.
